The leaves are about 50-100 centimetres long, while the width is about 2 centimetres.

Through distillation, lemongrass oil can be taken. Lemongrass oil is an essential oil that is obtained by distilling the leaves of these plants. Lemongrass can be used as a mosquito repellent, the content of lemongrass includes citronella, which mosquitoes do not like, either in the form of plants or essential oil. Therefore, lemongrass can be made into insect repellent and other insects.

Of its several uses, lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is more suitable for cooking. It is used in a variety of recipes.
